Memorial Consultant
Genevieve is a dedicated Monument Consultant and Office Administrator at Spring Valley Monuments, overseeing the Airmont, NY office. With a background as a licensed Funeral Director, she is deeply committed to helping families memorialize their loved ones. After leaving her previous role, Genevieve chose to continue her work in the Death Care Industry, where she finds fulfillment in creating personalized, lasting tributes to those who have passed.
Genevieve's career began in Rockland County, where she managed a Mac cosmetics store while pursuing her funeral director’s license. After completing rigorous exams and a year-long residency, she managed a funeral home before transitioning to her role at Spring Valley Monuments. She values the process of designing unique monuments, working closely with families to ensure that each piece reflects the memory of their loved one.
Known for her genuine compassion, Genevieve excels in making families feel at ease during a difficult time. Her ability to streamline the process helps lift the burden from grieving families, allowing them to focus on healing. The satisfaction of seeing families cherish the monuments she helps create is a source of great pride and purpose for her.
Outside of work, Genevieve enjoys spending time with her partner and their three cats, as well as indulging in hobbies like cycling, painting, and reading. She’s also active in her church, volunteering and singing in the choir. Genevieve’s dedication to serving others, both professionally and personally, makes her an invaluable member of the team at Spring Valley Monuments.

Accreditations and Associations

I’m a fireman in New York City in the Bronx, and a local volunteer. We’ve used Spring Valley Monuments in the past and the experience was great. Later I started working with them. Even the way they install and clean their monuments is with care. This is a great company.”
